About

Event details:

Date: 17th May 2025 (endangered species day!)

Time: Dependant on distance. TBC

Starting points:

10km – Swanage

20km - The Square & Compass pub car park in Worth Matravers.

40km - Durdle Door car park.

You can choose between a full or half marathon distance, or a 10km, and there are some easy-access parts of the route for wheelchair users/prams so this is an all-inclusive event and we would love for you to join.

Trekkers who want to tackle the full 40km route will start at the iconic and stunning Durdle Door and make their way along the beautiful and undulating South West Coastal Path, crossing the finish line at Shell Bay in Studland for a well-deserved glass of bubbly.

Trekkers who want to attempt the half distance (which works out at just over 20km), will start at Worth Matravers and follow the same challenging path along the shore until they reach Studland so that the whole team can celebrate together!

Trekkers who would prefer to do a 10km will start in Swanage and finish at the same place. Don't worry, there will be maps provided so you won't get lost, as well as members of the Tusk team to guide you.

All of our challenge fundraising events have a registration fee to confirm your place and a fundraising target to raise vital funds for our conservation efforts across Africa. You will be fully supported in your fundraising efforts and we will create a fundraising page for you to help get you started.

10km - registration fee: £10, fundraising target £200

20km - registration fee: £20, fundraising target £400

40km - registration fee: £30, fundraising target £500
